I think we solved this problem by putting the code in under HTML, rather than the Visual view. I am still looking for answers on how to get the PictureTrail to work but stay tuned because I will find a way. I know it is something in the code that we are pasting in, but am not sure how to fix it.

Settings->Reading-> Front Page Display

Here you will choose which page will be your front page and if you want it to be a STATIC page, or a POST page. Then you can choose where you want all of your posts to appear.

My blog has a static front page with no room place for comments. Because I have selected a category for each of my posts, they can be easily accessed under categories but they are all listed on the ITRT page…at least for now.

Static pages can also have a place for comments.

Once we get your “HOME” page set up…which I now know how to do… we will easily be able to add a post with your book list and put it in the Let’s Read category.

Your categories are a LABEL for your posts. You will need to rethink how you want to put assignments on your blog. I can show you in more detail how this can be done using the categories OR you might want to look at what Stacey has done on her blog for another approach.
